Our narrative work counters disinformation, centers community-defined success, and elevates the contribution of Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Pacific Islander communities. By moving away from deficit-based frames and amplifying stories of resilience, resistance, and innovation, we foster a shared vision of what is possible when justice leads.
Legal and Political Power
With the rising backlash against equity work, particularly aimed at Black leaders and small, community-based organizations, JustCity SF is investing in a legal defense network and designing tools to protect organizations from targeted attacks.
Radical Rest
We invest in the wellness of those doing the work because they deserve the space to heal, rest, and imagine.
We are working to restore control over land and funding to the most marginalized. We believe true solidarity includes shifting decision-making power; we accomplish that through investing in the wealth- and power-building that comes with land and property ownership.
